Though rather old news, Ivan Moody had a breakdown on stage, shots were fired, and then FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH seemed to be on the edge of being killed and suriving. Of course Ivan announced a new single "Jekyll and Hyde" as he adressed the situation. This is the original story that's known. Hell broke loose at the FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH show, but why the fuck did this happend and WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!? Well the band performed at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee, needless to say it was not a fun night for the crowd or the band even. But VERY eventful. Onstage drama started between frontman Ivan Moody and drummer Jeremey Spencer. The New Fury was on top of the case getting a first hand account of what happened from a fan at the show: Ivan held up a copy of Jeremy’s book and asked the fans if they had this FFDP book. Then, still mic’d which he might have known or might not have, said “That I had nothing to do with”. This statement was directed at Jeremy, and not in a good way. Jeremy then raged quit and walked off stage, the band soon left as well, liekly filled with embarrassment. Ivan talked for a minute, and also raged quit by throwing his mic and walked off off.

A few moments later, Ivan came back, rambled on and talked to the fans. If you thought this couldn't get anymore embarrasing for him, Ivan attempted to play Jeremy’s drumkit, trying to lead a song, obviously this plan was not a grand or successful one. Jeremy and the rest of the band came back and played a song while sounding completely out of step with each other. They probably felt bad for Ivan and wanted to finish the show. While Ivan stayed really close to Jeremy, seeming to talk shit to him. Digging himself even deeper into the hole he was in. Everyone nce again.

Ivan then threw the mic again. This repeated a couple more times until they just ran out of stage time and walked off stage. They survived the show. Ivan really made himself look like a complete asshole. I mean this is just worthy of a rock band soap opera, Somebody call lifetime! And if you can't believe this, watch the video.

(Video of Ivan's metldown on stage.)

Like a smart person, he realizes that he fucked up, big time. So he says goodbye to the audience forever, thanking Zolton and then dropping the mic to the crowdmembers calling him an asshole. They were not out of line to call him so. Twitter was filled with fans from this happening.

He has apologized, Ivan posts on Facebook “There were a lot of technical problems that were seemingly unsolvable. We had to make a decision whether to hit the stage crippled, without being able to hear ourselves, or delay the show possibly for hours."

“We decided to proceed. But not being able to hear if I was in key, and just guessing where we were in the song, frustrated me to the point that I lost my cool.”

As everyone could assume he says he's “never been so embarrassed before” and that he failed to handle the situation “appropriately.”

Then adds “I apologise for taking my anger out on stage. You know how I pride myself on live performance. I’d never want this to boil over into something that epically wrong again.”

They said they were going to make it up to the fans that had their show ruined. As they are truly a good band, but nobody is perfect. And Ivan had a few words to the crew, assuming the failure tech crew “To some of our crew, good luck in your future endeavours. We wish you the best. We also welcome our new monitor engineer Paul Weber. And to the haters, wipe that smirk off your face."

“We are not going anywhere – this ain't my last dance.”

His last words refer to the title of a track from Got Your Six their new album.
